For my final project in Art 235: Graphic Design II, I needed to create a series of PSA posters on a topic of my choice. These posters needed to have a similar set up, leave a call to action website link, and include the Ad Council logo. This project teaches how to create inviting designs, that give enough information to act, but not too much to overwhelm the viewer.

I decided for my posters that I wanted to focus on an aspect of responsible pet ownership. This prompt lead me down many different routes, such as pet adoption, rehoming, summer car safety, etc... 

I finally decided to focus primarily on spaying and neutering your pets, which protects owners from unanticipated additional pets, and shelters from being overwhelmed by animals. The pet homelessness crisis is an important topic that has yet to be solved, but it can be lessened greatly by preventing more pets from coming into homes unprepared for them. I found the ASPCA website to be a great resource on the topic of pet ownership and why you should spay or neuter your pets.
